HTSL has become the first PMI in the south-east to access the National Housing Fund (NHF)


HTSL has been selected to implement the Presidential mandate on mass housing for Anambra State.

Harvard Trust Savings and Loans Limited were licensed in 1992 to carry on mortgage banking business.

It has been a success story.  Our Bank has taken Mortgage Banking System to greater heights through the use of up to date information technology propelled by highly skilled manpower.

STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP WITH UNIVERSAL BANKS

We are positively disposed to building strategic partnership with universal bank(s) in Nigeria with the aim of gaining further access to venture capital for our mortgage business. The arrangement could result in equity investment, long term loan, guarantees or joint ventures.

 

We are in a position to provide mortgage banking services for the customers of the partner bank (s).

We therefore, reserve a preferential allotment of a maximum of 150,000,000 shares representing 25% of the offer for such bank (s) that may wish to enter into strategic partnership with us.

Handling charges on Sundry Accounts.

Interest spread on NHF backed loans intermediation

Interest income on mortgage and consumer loans.

Commission on Turnover.

Fees and Commissions on sundry loans.

Other fee based income.

Strengths of the Bank

STRENGTHS, RATINGS AND AWARD OF THE BANK

Since the commencement of operations, our banks has carved a niche for itself. Indeed, it has become a household name in the eastern states of Nigeria where it shows strong presence. We have been selected to implement the residential mandate on mass housing for Anambra state

Again, our bank is in the first list of primary mortgage institutions accredited by the federal mortgage banks of Nigeria (FMBN) to disburse the National housing found (NHF).

Moreso, the bank is presently servicing as the deputy president (East) of mortgage bankers Association of Nigeria (MBAN).

We have become the first PMI in the south-east to access the National housing fund. Intend NHF for Enugu civil servants has been released.

HTSL has been appointed official PMI for Enugu state Housing Development corporation (ESHDC) and Anambra state Housing development corporation (ASHDC). this translates to mortgage business from over 20,000 civil servants. it also give us a foot into the door of a vast mortgage business in the south-east.

LANDMARKS

From the foregoing it is not surprising therefore that Harvard Trust is in the first list of 30 Primary Mortgage Institutions (PMIS) that were accredited to disburse the National Housing Fund (NHF) Loan Scheme. This Land mark achievement is sequel to a clean bill of health as adjudged by our regulatory authorities.
